MR.DIY CSR: Flood Aids For Muar And Segamat Families
Muar and Segamat, two (2) districts in Johor state, are among the areas that are currently hit by the recent flood incident which has heavily impacted the families who lived in the affected areas.
MR.DIY has been working closely with Malaysia Relief Agency (MRA) since November 2022 for the flood relief project as it was predicted that annually from October until March will be a monsoon season, where there is a high chance of flooding in several states in Peninsular Malaysia.
Since the families were focusing on saving their lives during this unfortunate incident, they did not have the chance to salvage any hygiene or essential items. MR.DIY contributed hygiene kits which consist of toothbrushes, tubes of toothpaste, shampoos, razor blades, nail clippers, boxes of face masks, hand sanitizers, detergent powder, and wet tissues for the use of the families while they are being stationed at the four (4) relief centers. All of these items were handed over to the affected families on 24 January 2023.
