YAYASAN MR.DIY has recently provided sponsored contributions to Zoo Taiping & Night Safari (ZTNS) under their Program Anak Angkat (Adopt An Animal) Zoo Taiping & Night Safari.

Under this program, YAYASAN MR.DIY adopted 2 giraffes and a Malayan tiger. Through this sponsored contribution, the sponsored costs will be fully utilised to finance the Malayan tiger and giraffes’ food, medicine, enrichment programs, maintenance or construction of exhibition enclosures, or provision of facilities for visitors of ZTNS which supports the preservation and wildlife conservation efforts in ZTNS.

Meet Puntum, the remarkable Malayan tiger adopted by YAYASAN MR.DIY Puntum is a male Malayan tiger, currently 3 years and 5 months old, born on April 12, 2020, during the Movement Control Order (MCO). With a healthy body structure, weighing approximately 130kg to 140kg, Puntum stands as a prime example of his species, making him an ideal candidate for breeding efforts.

On the other hand, the two female giraffes, are known as Mas and Melewar. Mas, at 18 years old, is renowned for her friendliness, forging connections with both zookeepers and visitors alike. In contrast, Melewar, aged 15, a bit shy and tends to be more reserved. These two unique personalities add to the vibrant tapestry of Zoo Taiping.
